Mubadala Capital has agreed to acquire a majority interest in Arrive Logistics. Existing investors are retaining meaningful stakes in the business.

Arrive is a technology-enabled freight brokerage serving more than 5,500 customers and working with over 10,000 core carriers across North America.

Freight brokerage is a cyclical business with asset-light economics. Margins compress when capacity is abundant and expand when it is scarce, which makes entry timing a material component of return.

The transaction is characteristic of sovereign-linked capital in private markets: control positions in operating businesses with long hold horizons, rather than minority stakes taken for a defined exit window.

Retained stakes for existing investors also indicate a continuity structure rather than a full exit, aligning previous backers with the new majority holder through the next phase.

Supply chain and real-assets exposure sits within the private investment discussion at UKFOS Oxford 2026.
