Dossier, a bespoke executive search partner and sister company to recruiting firm Pocketbook Agency, has announced its establishment. The firm serves senior leadership roles across family offices, investment and financial services, foundations and trusts, and high-growth organisations.
Patricia Burkey has joined as Director of Talent Acquisition. She was founder of Veren Partners, a talent advisory firm known for placing leaders in roles that do not fit conventional job descriptions.
"Dossier's foundation is one few new firms can claim: twelve years of recruiting excellence behind us. We built this firm to be the one clients call when a leadership hire has to be right the first time," said Brittany Dolin, founder and chief executive of Dossier.
The firm places senior leaders across executive leadership, operations, human resources, accounting and finance, and marketing and sales, with additional functions available by request. Each search begins with a discovery process mapping a client's culture, structure and goals before sourcing starts.
Burkey's appointment expands Dossier's presence in New York and Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She will work directly with the firm's family office, investment and foundation clients, where confidentiality and fit are typically decisive.
Staffing remains one of the least standardised aspects of running a family office. Roles frequently combine investment, operational and family governance responsibilities, which is why specialist search mandates have grown alongside the number of single-family offices being formalised.
