Our commitments focus on waste minimisation, carbon footprint reduction, diversity and inclusion, and positive social impact.
Our Approach
We focus on practical actions that can improve how the Summit is delivered and the value it creates for participants and the wider community.

We aim to reduce unnecessary event waste through considered event production, digital-first communications and careful use of printed materials.
Where physical materials are required, we favour practical formats that can be reused, retained or recycled where appropriate.

We aim to reduce avoidable emissions associated with event delivery through venue selection, operational planning and efficient use of suppliers and materials.
UKFOS is held in central Oxford, supporting access by rail and public transport for UK delegates.

UKFOS is committed to creating a professional environment in which participants are treated fairly and respectfully.
We seek a breadth of perspectives across family offices, institutional investment, private capital, entrepreneurship, academia and the wider advisory community.
Participation remains based on relevance, experience and the quality of contribution to the Summit.

UKFOS aims to support discussions that contribute to more thoughtful long-term capital allocation, governance and stewardship.
The programme includes perspectives on philanthropy, impact investing, natural capital, innovation and the role of private capital in addressing long-term economic and social challenges.
Continuous Improvement
Our approach is to improve the way the Summit is delivered over time rather than make broad claims that are difficult to substantiate.
We will continue to review how UKFOS can reduce waste, operate more efficiently, widen participation and create positive value for the communities and sectors represented at the Summit.
