Ajay Patel

Ajay leads Cadro’s investment strategy, portfolio construction and governance across private equity, venture, credit, infrastructure and secondaries for High-Net-Worth private clients, family offices and institutions. He chairs the Private Markets Investment Sub-Committee and sits on the company’s primary Investment Committee, overseeing both private and public multi-asset portfolios.

Previously, he was Senior Investment Manager at British Patient Capital, where he directed European venture/growth fund commitments and led the company’s integration of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) mandates. He spent nine years as an Investment Director of Private Equity at M&G Investments in London and Hong Kong, executing primary, secondary and co-investments across Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Ajay holds a BSc in Business Economics & Finance (Loughborough University), the IMC and CAIA Level I.
