V-Key, a portfolio company of Singapore-based private equity firm Tower Capital Asia, has announced a strategic majority investment in CloudsineAI, a Singapore-based provider of artificial intelligence cybersecurity and web integrity protection. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed in the supplied announcement.

The transaction brings together V-Key’s digital identity, authentication and mobile application security capabilities with CloudsineAI’s AI security technology. The companies intend to develop an integrated offering for organisations managing access and security across human users, software applications and AI agents.

V-Key provides digital identity and Mobile Application Protection & Security services. Its technology includes the V-OS Virtual Secure Element and V-OS App Identity, designed to support secure onboarding, access management and transaction protection. CloudsineAI develops TraceCtrl, an agentic AI security suite, and WebOrion, a web integrity protection platform used by enterprise and government customers.

Under the proposed combined approach, the businesses will connect identity verification and access governance with visibility into the activities of AI agents. The companies say the integration is intended to help organisations identify actors interacting with their systems, protect digital transactions and establish accountability for automated processes.

Joseph Gan, co-founder and chief executive of V-Key, said the investment extends the company’s work in digital identity into security for AI-powered services. He identified governed access, secure interactions and accountability as priorities as organisations deploy AI agents alongside human users.

Matthias Chin, founder and chief executive of CloudsineAI, said the companies plan to combine identity governance with TraceCtrl’s agentic AI security capabilities, including monitoring and traceability features.

The combined offering is aimed at regulated sectors including financial services, government, healthcare and critical infrastructure. According to the announcement, the businesses intend to support organisations seeking to secure AI interactions while meeting governance and regulatory requirements.

Seth Lim, senior vice president at Tower Capital Asia, said V-Key’s investment in CloudsineAI builds on the private equity firm’s original investment thesis around digital identity and trust. Tower Capital Asia also identified potential opportunities for the combined businesses in Asia-Pacific and other markets.

Founded in 2011, V-Key serves banks, enterprises and government-linked organisations. CloudsineAI is based in Singapore, with WebOrion deployed by customers in Singapore and four other countries, according to the announcement.

Tower Capital Asia was established in 2016 and focuses on mid-market private equity investments in Southeast Asia. Its investments have included AXS, BoardRoom, Eu Yan Sang and V-Key. As at 30 June 2026, the firm reported more than US$900 million in investments and commitments under management across its vehicles.
