Sandy Arbuthnott is Director of Octopus Energy Homes, building the company's B2B programme to accelerate low-carbon technology adoption in UK homes. Octopus Energy Homes partners with social landlords, build-to-rent investors and housebuilders, engineering investment cases and mobilising capital to deploy solar, batteries and heat pumps at scale, improving affordability, resilience and environmental sustainability. Unique propositions include Zero Bills (zero energy bills, guaranteed for ten years) and Tenant Power (lower bills for tenants, a return for landlords). Prior to Octopus, Sandy held commercial, sustainability and transformation roles in FTSE100 and climate-tech startup companies, consulted at Bain and flew fast jets in the Royal Navy. He holds an MEng from Oxford and an MBA from London Business School.
