Rothschild & Co has appointed Samantha Beach as a Director and Client Adviser in its UK Wealth Management business, based in Manchester. The firm says the hire further strengthens its regional presence outside London.
Beach joins from Barclays Private Bank, where she spent more than a decade advising individuals, founders and families with substantial wealth across the North of England. She brings over 20 years of wealth management and private banking experience, having previously held senior client-facing roles at Coutts & Co.
A regional business built over a decade
Rothschild & Co's UK regional wealth management presence was founded more than a decade ago in Manchester by Peter Hindle, and now totals more than 20 people. The business operates from offices in Birmingham, Guernsey, Leeds, London and Manchester.
The firm says it has invested significantly in its UK Wealth Management business in recent years, with assets under management almost doubling over the last six years.
Advice across business and personal balance sheets
Rothschild & Co Wealth Management works alongside the firm's Global Advisory and Arrowpoint divisions, an arrangement intended to cover both business and personal financial affairs within a single advisory relationship.
Global Advisory and Arrowpoint colleagues guide business owners and shareholders through the sale of their companies, with the Wealth Management team advising clients on how best to protect and grow the proceeds through long-term investment and wealth planning strategies. For founders approaching a liquidity event, that sequencing — transaction advice followed by long-horizon portfolio construction — is the central commercial rationale for a regional adviser presence.
Commentary
Peter Hindle, UK Head of Client Teams at Rothschild & Co Wealth Management, said: "We are delighted to welcome Samantha to our team in Manchester. She is an exceptionally experienced adviser with deep connections across the North. Her client-first approach, expertise and commitment to building long-term trusted relationships make her an excellent addition to the team."
He added: "Samantha's appointment underlines our intention to continue to expand our regional footprint, enhancing our presence and capabilities across the UK to deliver exceptional advice to clients wherever they are based."
The build-out of regional private-client teams beyond London remains one of the clearer structural trends in UK wealth management, driven by founder liquidity and the intergenerational transfer of family wealth — themes that run through the UKFOS Oxford 2026 programme.
