Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) has participated in a $1 billion Series F financing for AI infrastructure company SambaNova.

The round included General Atlantic, Seligman Ventures, T. Rowe Price Associates, Capital Group and other new and existing investors.

SambaNova develops full-stack AI infrastructure designed to support AI inference for enterprises, neo-clouds, AI laboratories and service providers.

The company said the financing will support continued growth, including the expansion of global deployment capacity, product development and the scaling of AI infrastructure for enterprise customers.

SambaNova plans to continue investing across chips, systems, software and full-stack infrastructure as it responds to demand for AI inference.

QIA also participated in a previous SambaNova funding round in February 2026.

QIA said its latest participation reflects its continued focus on next-generation technology platforms supporting global AI adoption and its strategy of partnering with companies that demonstrate differentiated technology, commercial momentum and long-term growth opportunities.
