Olivia advises clients on a wide range of investment fund matters, including the establishment of investment funds and institutional investments into those funds. She also provides advice for asset managers on key regulatory matters affecting the sector and has significant experience providing support to M&A deals with fund elements. Olivia is trusted by family offices, ultra-high net worth individuals and first-time managers to design and build investment and asset management structures that suit their goals.
Representative matters include advising a European family office on four separate investment structures and associated carried interest plans, Hines Europe on the establishment of its €1.6bn Hines European Real Estate Partners III (HEREP III) fund, and Macquarie on the funds elements of its $2.3bn acquisition of the UK Green Investment Bank (now Green Investment Group).
Olivia is recognised by Legal 500 UK as being a Key Lawyer. She is a member of the European Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles (INREV), the Investment Association (IA), The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) and the Law Society. She was shortlisted for Rising Star at the Women in Law Awards, 2020.
