Lavinia du Cauzé de Nazelle

Lavinia is a Managing Associate in Mishcon Private, specialising in complex disputes and matters involving 'passion assets' such as art, cars and yachts, as well as crypto. She acts for family offices, individuals, start-ups, artists and galleries.

Lavinia is experienced in complex litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution across a range of commercial disputes concerning contracts, shareholder rights, fiduciary and directors' duties, fraud and misrepresentation. Her art and luxury asset disputes often concern ownership, authenticity, restitution, investment fraud and stolen property.

Lavinia's art-related transactional work encompasses sales, securitisation, donations, exhibition loans and licensing. She also advises cultural institutions on governance and compliance. Her experience includes secondments at leading national museums, including the British Museum and Tate Gallery.
