Arif Saad is Head of Natural Capital – Farmland Solutions at Van Lanschot Kempen, where he is responsible for the strategic growth of the firm's farmland investment business.
Previously, Arif oversaw the firm's UK investment proposition, focusing on strategic and tactical asset allocation, portfolio construction across public and private markets, and delivering sustainable, risk-controlled returns. He also served as Head of People for the UK business.
Before joining Van Lanschot Kempen in 2020, Arif was a Fiduciary Manager at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), where he helped develop its fiduciary offering. He also led LGIM's Strategic Client Relationship team, advising major UK pension funds on risk and derivative strategies.
He began his career at Mercer, advising institutional clients on investment strategy, manager selection and performance.
Arif holds a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Economics from the University of Warwick, is a CFA Charterholder and was recognised as a Rising Star in Asset Management by Financial News in 2021.
