Andrew Saunderson is Head of UK Living Capital Markets at CBRE, where he leads the Residential Capital Markets team advising clients on transactions across the UK.
Andrew joined CBRE in January 2022 to lead the Residential Capital Markets team. Prior to joining CBRE, he was Investment Director at Grainger plc, the UK’s largest listed residential landlord. During a 20-year career at Grainger, Andrew played a pivotal role in the growth of its Build to Rent business, which grew to more than 10,000 operational units alongside a development pipeline of approximately 8,000 homes.
Andrew was also responsible for Grainger’s Asset Management teams, giving him extensive experience of the operational factors that support recurring investor returns.
At CBRE, Andrew’s team specialises in residential capital markets across Build to Rent, including Multifamily and Single Family Housing, Purpose-Built Student Accommodation, Co-Living, Affordable Housing and Debt Advisory. Since joining CBRE, he has advised on and acted as Executive Sponsor across a range of major UK residential investment transactions.
